Urtekram
Lisbeth Damsgaard and Ronnie McGrail opened a modest herb shop in the city of Copenhagen at the start of the narrative. There, a variety of goods were sold, but the emphasis was always on living a natural, straightforward, and pure existence. The two organic pioneers were rapidly overcome by the entrepreneurial spirit, and the shop was soon supplanted by the establishment of their company Urtekram. The organic idea in general, as well as Urtekram, gradually gained knowledge throughout the 1970s and 1980s, expanding beyond the highly exclusive, small group of erstwhile eco-advocates, or "the greens," as they were referred as at the time.
